Lexus cruise to Revscene Spring meet @ Spanish Banks
#106
This year we have invited the Vancouver Police Department to come and assist us with a little crowd control and SAFETY control. They have assured me (as they do every year for the past few years) that they will not be inspecting vehicles, handing out VI's or hassling people just for the hell of it. They are happy to make sure that we're all safe and that everybody is cool. The best part? Locals are going to call the Police for sure. Because the cops are already there, locals are much less likely to call in to the Police. Inspector Doug Fisher is a very cool guy - Very into community relations and he respects our hobby. He LOVES the fact that we want them to come to help us with some safety concerns. Two officers will show up and make sure we're not being like the Mustang club (they all got tickets for doing burnouts and causing mischief at the beach).

Are you kidding me? Revscene meets are by far the best for NOT having the Police hand out VI's and tickets and stuff. If you are driving like an asshat and doing burnouts then yeah, you deserve to be raped by the po-po.

I still think It's like "inviting a fox to the chicken coop" the day I see a cop ignore a car with no front plate or tint on front windows.......
- the crowd control thing is good -
the mustang club ... - man - THE ONLY REASON TO HAVE A MUSTANG IS TO DO BURNOUTS!!!!! - it's like ticketing a fish for swimming!!!!
