that is one bad chain of events...

i used to live in north van for 7 years
lived like 3 blocks away from RCMP station
ive even visited them before and they seemed very nice
but that was years ago so many they got some ****** on the force now

btw West Van is decent IMO and they dont use RCMP, they have their own police force that ive heard are some what friendly from my friends living in west van

not that u want to deal with any cops anyways

Sorry to hear about what happened. Hope this will pass quickly and forget about it soon.

Did u read or hear about the scandal that they had a while back with the West Van police?

So are you not allowed to have any tint at all or was it too dark Fay?

^ it's illegal to have tint on the front side windows here

from what i've heard the new cops like to be pushy... also what doesn't help is being smart w/ them (not saying faye was or not)

and yea the rookie cops (which this one was, only 6mo on the force) are all 'dont do that blah blah i have a rod up my *** blah blah' did iiiii say that?

*sigh* well anyway, my car is completely clean now, had to get all that impound lot air off it.

i'm going to phone and dispence $h!t upon cdn tire 2moro; i also just found a crack in my spoiler, deffinately new, but i cant be sure that didnt happen in the last month because people are always slamming my trunk

so... it sounds like you got a "box2" inspection previously , which sr=tates that you have 30 days to have your car inspected by a "designated inspection facility" which btw can be anywhere, not just can. tire, ie. crooked surrey shop w/ dirt floor= extra $100 and you pass! Maybe you recieved this ticket and it was not fully explained to you ? iv'e had experience with this since yhe second day i drove a car(16 years) this is the only way you could have experienced this "fun" you had! don't worry it happened to me , more than once, not much you can do ,but play the"game" unfortunately the cops are getting smarter, nowadays you could get a box1 or 2 and the cop will add a note stating that the car must be inspected by it's respective dealership,ie. toyota or nissan, honda etc. and believe me the dealer sees this as carte blanche to replace every part on your car that might be just dirty, stating that "it needed to be done" a friend of mine was almost charged $3600 at honda for his "vi" till i went with him and questioned the long list of parts!!!

unfortunately i didnt get an option for where my car was being towed to ... i thought of taking it to sketch place and paying an extra $100 or something ... but apparently that wasnt happening

so i've handed my entire problem over to my mum ... cos shes the best ... and qiote excellent at making things happen (i'm good, but shes older so shes better) and she is going to phone and raise hell this afternoon whilel i'm writing a midterm ... i'll keep all of you posted
