it was great meeting everyone and putting a face to the names!
I'd go with the interstate battery as well.... they haven't failed me yet and I've had several of them in various cars.

my sub + amp is only doing about 150W (forgot if thats peak or RMS)
anyways
thanks for the suggestions
i think my batt is actually fine now
the car has beens starting fine now after driving my car around the town to charge it up
but if it does really die, ill know where to get a battery and what to get
thanks everyone
lets hope the weather gets nice soon

i'm not sure what to recommend. i'm running much more than 150W
my redtop would completely drain in 10 minutes if the car was not running, and even with it running at idle the lights in the car would dim and my idle would drop
why did your battery die in the first place? did you leave your lights on? i would go and get it tested... if not at soundworks, try battery world on boundary/1st.

Only two pics of the historic first ever CL-Vancouver meet? Post more if you got 'em.
Uber:
How often do you drive your GS? You mentioned you don't use it much. That is quite likely the reason for your battery problems, or least part of the reason. Your security system is still consuming battery power when the car is sitting unused. If it sits long enough, it will drain the battery to the point that starting the car is difficult or impossible. And if you use your audio system a lot when driving, plus heater, lights, wipers, etc, it's going to take that much longer to recharge the battery. I would get your battery tested before you go and buy a new one. If it tests marginal, then a new battery is probably a good idea, but if it tests ok then you might just need to run the car more often to keep the battery topped up.
Cheers,
Mitch

ah to bad
ill bring my SLR camera next time when the weather is nicer
it will take a while to develop the film though
the reason why my battery ran down was because i left my audio and lights on during the meet with my engine off
HID, fogs.... lol
left it on for like 1/2 hr i think
i drive about once or twice a week, mostly just short trips around here to get some groceries or go to a restaurant
narfy, if a girl can wait patiently for you at a car meet, then shes a keeper
ill try to find some time next week to get my battery tested, a bit much to do this week :S
finally soundworks got their website up
