My 1UZ has seen better days and showing its age at 336k. I originally got it cause I wanted to have owned every generation of the motor. 1uz in the SC400, 2uz in my old 4Runner and then the 5.7 in my Tundra. While yes everyone and their grandma does a 1JZ, doesn't take away from that feeling if you've never owned one.

I have a KA trans mounted to mine, so it wouldn't take any boosted abuse. I went the cheaper route when doing my swap. As a cruiser around town, it does just fine with it.
