wassup yall I recently got an 07 is250 lexus I'm new to the community and I'm used to Hondas so I'm still learning compatibility

I'm wanting to swap to 2jz & make her a full manual maybe turbo aswell is this possible? I've heard manual swap might not be possible but that's why I came to yall again I'm new I'm aware this might sound dumb 😂😂

 

Anything can be bolted into another chassis and boost applied. The problem here is these cars have complex electronic integration of Toyotas 4 proprietary CAN bus systems that all need to talk to each other. So, if your background brings tools and knowledge related to Toyota ECU maps and programming skills you'll be fine, otherwise you be at the mercy of paying someone else to figure it out.

Step one, pay for a year long account subscription on Toyota's TIS site and learn about the car and what parts interchange.

Read other swap threads. Repeat the loop until you're either committed or afraid.
