I have been looking for threads on 2jz swapping the is2 but can barely fine any and the ones i do find aren’t done or is 10 year old. Tuning and technology has came a far way i have a 2jz-ge i took out of my gs300 that was totaled so i am considering building the engine and dropping it into the 2013 is250 i have. I’m all for research and reading page after page on the forums but there is really nothing to find. I know there is people who have done it but no info on how. I am not new to building cars, i have a s14 sr20 making 450hp and had a is300 making 700hp with the ge engine with built block and head auto.
i have so much questions like front sump or rear sump? The gs300 is front sump
what transmission because i want to stay automatic?
Can i get my paddle shifts to work ?
If i do it i will go haltech 2500t. But i was told by shops who did it before i need some other modules to get my cluster and other stuff in the car to work.
