What's good everyone, gunna start a build thread for my 2016 Lexus IS300 F Sport, which is currently in Ultra White... key word, currently. Everything has been installed by myself, or with the help of my girlfriend's father. There are a few more bigger things I would love to do but they'll probably have to wait for now. If you like what you see feel free to hit me up - I love talking about builds and/or helping people who are considering some of the mods I have done. If you feel so inclined shoot me a follow on my IG page I started a few months ago @skrrrrt_3is. Thanks for taking the time to check it out!
Performance:
RR Racing Tune
Invidia Q300 SS Quad Rolled Tip Axle Back Exhaust - Lexus RC350
Invidia Q300 Mid-Pipe - Lexus IS300/350
AEM 221-759C Cold Air Intake
On The Way (Already came in - need to find time to install)ViViD Elephant Grey Vinyl Wrap (Nardo Grey)
RSR Down Springs (Couldn't decide between coilovers or bags so I went the cheaper route to test the waters before making that decision)
Day I took her off the lot. 2016 IS300 F Sport with 29k miles.
First project, Painting the calipers with G2 Caliper Paint, and applied 2 Lexus Vinyls on the front calipers.
Painting the wheels Gloss Black.
This is how she sat for a while while I was paying the car off. Only 2 mods I did where the wheel paint and caliper paint.
Now its time to have some fun. Painted all the engine bay covers candy red with some candy red glitter. Looks a lot better in direct sunlight, love the way it came out.
Carbon fiber roof spoiler.
Next few are some pics from my IG. Last pic shows the quad pipe exhaust I installed.
Lexus RC Axleback with an IS Mid-Pipe. Both Invidia Q300. Diffuser coming soon to finish off the rear end.
Front lip and side skirts installed! Waiting on the weather to warm up so that I can paint them glossy black. Custom CF Steering wheel coming within a week or so
Not at all bud... The RC Exhaust is a direct fit to the existing exhaust & hangers. No welding needed, direct bolt on. Only thing that is required is cutting the existing fascia to fit the extra pipes. This can be avoided by upgrading to the 2017+ Diffuser which I might consider in the future, but I don't mind how it looks currently with the existing 2016 fascia. Also do not buy the RC mid-pipe... only the axle-back is a direct fit. You will need to pair it with an IS mid-pipe if you want the mid as well.
