Talking Period correct kit in all its glory

Good morning fellas, we got a 93 SC400 here with a kit, a unique kit. It sounds like it may not be for everyone but I dig it and daily it. Never done but I thought I'd at least start a thread about it.

Veilside front bumper
Do Luck skirts
Do Luck rear bumper
Veilside wing

Suspension:
Fortune Auto Mueller MSC 1 way (digressive) with Swift springs
New OEM UCA and LCA
Poly on the swaybar

Wheels:
G35 19" painted with 3d printed center caps
LS400 BBK (recently done)

Engine:
Stock 1uz with 200k on it
Timing belt done
Tensioner/Idlers replaced
Water pump replaced
NGK wires
NGK Laser iridium plugs

Tranny:
Ohhh man... so not downshifting when it should
Ended up being solenoids and new fluid to get her shifting properly
Lucas gunk didn't hurt either.

Interior:
Basic Kenwood with camera inputs - Rear view cam installed
Kicker 4" in the door
Kicker 6.5" in the rear dash
OEM woofer is there but unhooked
Orion 10" sealed sub with Rockford 500w amp
Rockford 500w 4channel for the Kickers
Tint everywhere! In Az its not optional. Ceramic UV whoopty whoop on the windshield

Everything still works, everything. You know except that whole "slappa da dash" crap and that discoloration in the AC display. We'll get there.

Basically how she came.

With Tint

Tranny fun

Old filter

Naked front end

Cams looking good

New plugs

New wires

Fortune Autos

Fortune Autos

Kit on the ground

Veilside

Do Luck

Some of the damage that had to be repaired

Test fit after fiberglass repair

Test fit from the rear

All painted with the logo back on, I'm kind of stuck on the gold package. Yes the entire car was corrected/painted, dings and chips on every panel of the car.

Quick photo shoot, yes I know, lighting.

Man, this is so 90's and obnoxious... I love it! You're a wild set of wheels away from an awesome look here haha.

I want to check this out in person! I'll keep an eye out.
Agreed. Needs some wild, period correct wheels to tie it all together. I suggest something of the Advan or SSR variety?!
Looks like the exterior refresh and installation of the kit was very well done. Keep us posted!

Nice! Good full tune up and restoration for your SC400 with the vintage body kit!

Agreed that you need some wheels to go with it. Maybe some vintage staggered SSR's or BBS LM's. Throw some 95-00 LS400 front brake calipers on there too.

Oh goodness gracious. I mean, it looks like good paintwork but why?! Looks horrendous IMO. Just because its vintage and "period correct" doesn't mean it's good. But to each their own.

Love it. I'm planning on a period correct look for my pearl sc400 also. Always loved the Veilside front, and some aspects of the rear. I'd like to get my hands on a Bomex kit.
