We put in the CXRacing intercooler this weekend. Lots of custom fabrication and cutting, but overall, pretty straight forward install. Looks clean after everything put back together.
Ya, it took some work, but once we got her in, it looked pretty good. The one issue I have with the kit is the lack of any instructions or help installing it. If anyone is considering this kit, let me know and I can send lots of pictures and provide any tips I can.
The kit as a whole is very nice. Every things feels solid and good quality. I'll update at some point after I have run her a while and let everyone know how it's holding up. That is assuming I can get this thing to start at all.

Hey Bruce,
Did you need to drill the hole into the chassis for the cold side pipe to come into the car? I was super confused with that kit until I realized that I had to do that! I cut some vacuum tubing the long way and put it over the exposed rough sheet metal to protect myself from cuts.

Does this look familiar. I need to add the rubber tubing sliced lengthwise like you did so I do not cut my hands.

Mine was pretty much the same! I used a 4" hole saw for mine.
I am trying to keep the SC as original looking as possible. After installing the intercooler, the radiator overflow bottle no longer fit in its original location. I cut fabricated a bracket to relocate it.

[QUOTE=mrmj2u;10786760]Nice!! I have the same issue. my bottle looks terrible the way that i kinda have it hanging in there. Would love a bracket like yours and am willing to pay you for one if you are interested.
Marcus, for all the help you have offered over the past couple of months, I would be glad to cut one out for you. I have the material in the garage now.

Great call on the bracket! I'm sure multiple people on here could utilize that. I was lucky and was able to use my stock bracket with a little bending and prying. However, I have no clue what intercooler kit came with my GTE swap... mine exits out of the bay through the existing passenger side hole in the fender as opposed to having to cut the new hole and go down like your CX kit.

Thanks for the feedback on the bracket. I originally thought the CXRacing cold pipe came up through that hole in the PS fender as well. The pipe diameter on the CX kit is too large to fit in that hole. I had removed the plastic insert thinking that was where it was going to go. In the end, I used a hole saw to cut a new hold and put the plastic insert back in the smaller hole.
