Default Athletic and luxurious

Hello,

Over the year and a bit I have built my 07 IS350. The build list includes

Power
-Electronic exhaust dump at the ypipe prior to the resonator
-Rear Cat deletes
-Injen CAI
-RR Racing Tune

Suspension/Handling
-Koni yellow adjustable dampening rear struts
-Tein 16 way adjustable front struts
-H&R lowering springs
-RR Racing LCA bushings
-25mm eibach spacers x4
-Firestone firehawk Indy500 (F 235/40/18 R 255/40/18)
-Msport cross drilled slotted front rotors w/ carbon ceramic trw pads
-Rear cross drilled max brakes rotors and carbon pads

Visual
-Vland Rear tail lights
-Yellow fogs
-20% tint

I just wanted to share my setup and let you know it's getting better and better. The spacers could be 5mm less (20mm instead of 25mm). The car handles insanely well and is very poised and planted. It pulls my buddies 2009 335xi all day from a dig it is neck to neck but the gearing of this thing just lays down lashings and with the new tune that I picked up from RR I would imagine it would hurt them that much more.

The sound of this car is something that hits different, absolute neck breaker and when the dump is closed, the car visually breaks necks and is almost stock sounding.

Great progress. I was looking at the Tein Endurapro plus as well. But I think I’m going to install coilovers instead. I’m also lowered on H&R springs. Did you have the springs on before you installed the Teins?

I prefer the ride comfort of a strut and spring personally, also I find it performs better. This is because most coil over kits people opt for are typically cheaper. The enduraproplus are exceptional and offer many attributes and safety nets with internal bump stops. The adjustments are noticeable and unless you winter you car you don't need to raise and lower the car a lot. I did run the stock struts and H&R's but it wasn't stiff enough and I kept bottoming out. Unless you plan on spending more than 1500 on coilovers I don't suggest them.

Good luck and thanks for the compliments

I was worried about switching to the Tein Shocks would raise my car a bit. And I’m honestly not sure where I got that notion. But yours still looks nice and low. If I go the coilover route , they will come from a company down the street from me called Fortune Auto.

Nice build. Yes, the tune with the higher rev limit will cer help you pull away from your buddy's 335xi as you'll get to stay in the lower gears for a longer period of time.
