JayT's 2016 RC200t "Mica"
I bought my 2016 RC200t Fsport in ultrasonic blue preowned a little over a year ago, and I've enjoyed every second that I drive this car. But now it's time to pump in some extra fun! I've never done a build before, so I hope it goes well.
I originally wanted to see how the car would do in autox FS class, but that idea fell by the wayside. Plus the wife is also enjoying personalizing the car so the updated build plan reflects that. At least the car will look track-ready once its complete, and I'll put in a couple autox and track days along the way.
Planned / Bought / Installed mods:
40% tint
RS-R Down SUS
HPS CAI
Wedssport TC105X
18x8.5 +32
18x9.5 +45
Wedssport TC105X centercaps
Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position
245/40/18
275/35/18
Project Mu Lugnuts
Project Mu brake pads
Project Mu valve stem caps
OEM calipers painted teal
SARD AROUSE Su Axleback
SARD Stabilizer (front & rear)
SARD front spoiler
SARD sports Cat
TOM'S Linear Throttle System III
TOM'S Carbon Mirror Covers
326Power Roof Spoiler
SARD or Seibon carbon hood
INGS Z-Power wing

I will definitely contact you once that time comes! But right now I really want to get some new shoes for the car first.
I'm in talks regarding a good wheel/tire package that may prove 18s can still fit on an Fsport.

Not a build update per se, but the first autocross for the car in its stock form will be this Sunday at AutoClub Speedway. Hopefully my old GoPro still works so I can take video.

No video, but the event photographer got some good shots.
My tires are beat up now, and I hear a ticking noise near the front of the car whenever I make slow, sharp turns. I have to get that checked out.

Small update.
So I inquired about the ticking noise coming from the front left wheel when I took the car in for its next service. The Lexus technicians said its a known issue with the performance brakes and they are actually a recall item. Since the brakes themselves are fine and I don't really hear the ticking all that much, I'm just going to leave them alone.
Lastly, finally pulled the trigger on the Wedssport TC105X wheels. Hopefully Christmas comes a little early, and I'll get the wheels, tires, and RS-Rs all installed at the same time.

It's been a while since I updated things here. Oops! I'm also overdue for more updated pictures.
So far since last year, I have:
- Mounted the wedssports onto some new tires. I went with Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position. As much as I wanted something like the RE-71Rs which are 200TW, the S-04s seemed like a better choice for a daily with 280TW. They grip just fine for the occasional spirited drive thru the canyons.
- Went to Tokyo Auto Salon and bought a TOM'S L.T.S. III. I just happened to be needed in Japan for work the same week the autoshow was taking place so I extended my stay 1 day just so I could go! Haven't installed it yet though because I don't want to screw it up. Plus the instructions are all in Japanese.
- Bought an HPS CAI. Got it Saturday, but I am missing a tool to install it. Hopefully this week I'll complete it.

The HPS intake has been installed. Both the sound and color are awesome!
Also picked up some Wedssport centercaps and Project Mu locknuts to dress up the wheels more.
