Default IS-C F Sport Shift **** on RC350 F Sport

My factory **** was looking a little ragged so I wanted to upgrade but wanted to keep the F Sport theme. Couldn't find any information on if the IS-C Special Edition shift **** would fit the RC so took a chance and ordered one. It requires some modification but got it to work. You need an M8x1.25 to M12x1.25 adapter. Got mine on Amazon for $5. You also need to cut down the clip facing the seats on factory shift boot. I took a little off each side with a Dremel. This allows the factory boot to slip and remaining clips to slip almost entirely into the bottom of the IS-C shift **** (it has a recess in the bottom to allow the reverse lock out from the IS-C to slot into). It leaves a little bit of the clips exposed but I got around this by pulling up the leather to meet the bottom of the new ****. It is very little as in you need to put your head level with the shift boot to even see it. Looking at from sitting in either seat you are not able to see any gap, but pulling up the leather eliminate it completely.

Feels and looks way better than the worn factory unit and it leaves enough of the clip in place where it can be swapped back if needed. One thing to note if you want to do this, get one of the M8 to M12 adapters that has the "geared" ring around it, this will act as the stop for the IS-C ****. You get one chance to get the placement perfect. The threading on the IS-C **** is plastic, so if you over crank it will eat into the threads. I went a little over then when I tried to straighten it out, it was loose. I had to go another full rotation and ate into the threads a bit. Once you start feeling it get tight, be careful to position it where you want and don't over tighten as you can't go back.
