Introducing myself! LS4DIRTY
Hey there, Tee from Bay Area, California.
Just upgraded from my 2006 Acura TL to my 2004 BLACK ON BLACK LS430 UL a few weeks ago. Loving the car more and more I drive it. I don't care what anybody says, I will never go back to a Honda/Acura again lol. got it with 116k miles, flew out for it and drove it 8 hours back home right after I got it. It needs minor TLC. (Detailing it is at the top of my list)
1. CD changer door stays open, it doesn't close until I try after 100000 times. Easy fix?
2. Steering wheel stopped tilting, do I need to replace the tilt motor? It still telescopes, but VERY slowly. It doesn't do the traditional Lexus feature where the steering wheel tilts down/up and pushes in/out. It pretty much has stayed in the same place since the day I bought it.
3. Missing two parking sensors in the front, easy to replace? They are both on the driver's side.
4. Whenever I press the AFS button, it doesn't show up on the cluster whether it's ON or OFF. It's like it doesn't make a difference. Is it as simple as the fuse for AFS being blown or "AFS sensor"? I would like to fix this feature if possible
I have already bought a little bit of cosmetic mods (ASC680, braga door handles, visors, etc) but won't put them on until I detail it. Thanks and glad to finally be a part of Club Lexus.

Looking good. I seen that you ask me where I got a x pipe put it. I didn't its illigal to remove the 3rd cat in California. So I just replaced the resonators with glasspacks. I had straight pipe replaced as my resonators on my last ls430 it think it sounded a lot better then the glasspacks. Maybe because it was a generic brand galsspacks. Should have got some cherry bombs or something.
