My name is Rivaldo & I purchased my 1992 SC400 for just about $400 in Northern California last year. (2017)
I'm 18 years old, and this is my build thread.

Source out a black interior, cd009 6-spd swap, full body kit, buckets, ze40's, full suspension upgrades. I basically want to make this car fun as possible, and occasionally take it out to the track.

Nice, you will love the 1UZ motor, be sure to do the maintenance and take care of it.

You couldn't have scored a better car for $400! Like the previous gentlemen said, make sure maintenance and fluids are up to date and you'll fall in love with that motor. Killer project, have fun with it man.

I found some photos of a few phases my car went through before i purchased it. Man, it looked so damn good before it got stripped & yes if it looks familiar i bought this car off of "streetgoons" on instagram. He now owns a really nicely put together ls400! My plans with the car are to make this car just as nice, if not better than how it looked before while also adding some more driver focused modifications to it.

Picked up a pair of tan seats for my car this past weekend for $30! Yes they're pretty torn and not in the best shape, but all the motors work so they'll have to do for now!

Nice pick up! Too bad that car started out so nice, however, awesome to see somebody excited and full of energy to bring some life back into it.

So I hopped onto a curb a while ago lol but finally got to remove the wheel and check the damage. Needless to say, I need new wheels. Hoping to just purchase a set of ze40's or buy some cheaper wheels for now while I put together the cars exterior.

Meanwhile my car is undrivable I converted one of my tail lights over to a 50/50. The tail light originally had a spray can tint which I removed with brake cleaner. The brake cleaner ate through the lens so I got some 320 Grit, 1200, & 2000 Grit and wetsanded the lens. After wet sanding I sprayed on 2 good coats of clear and I think the results are amazing.

Beautiful work - those are a huge upgrade from the spray tint!
