New white factory 5spd 2jz racecar.
Just picked up another sc300 to swap my 1995 running motor into. The black one is a 1995 sc300 automatic 2jzge. The new one is a fantastic pearl white, factory 5 spd manual car 1 of only 3,883 made! Car is going with a rocket bunny theme. Car WILL be a track car, that i will register for weekend street use. I will be caging it myself coming up. Planning on having the swap done at a shop in the next 2 weeks!

So you're the guy that bought that car!
I was in contact with the seller that had it on Craigslist about some parts but he said somebody was coming to get it.
Looks like a nice platform to build on. Clean rust free body is really all you need to get things going!
Good luck!

White one/manual is a 92. Black one is a 95 or 96 2jzge auto. Yellow is a 1987 944s. It will be getting even wider le mans fenders and boxed quarter panels, for 12"wide wheels. Setting it up for an ls1/t56 in the future.

So cars are in the shop. Motors are out. Need motor mounts. Any reason not to get power torque (oreilleys) motor mounts? For 100$ a pair.
I hear the tt supra mounts are a direct replacement. And much better but I don' know where to find them.

Or if you're going racecar I picked up the Xcessive poly 2jz mounts and am very fond of them. Too stiff at first, but once broken in I'm glad I went heavier duty than factory.

Just went down to drop off motor mounts (went with power torque from oreilleys) at the shop and got talked into replacing just about everything else while the motor is out. Ha.
Ordering:-AISIN water pump/timing belt/cam seal kit.
-fel-pro valve cover gasket (that seams like a decent company in general.)
-rear main seal. (Not sure what the different is between the 10$ seal and the 'kits' for 35$ I see)
all done including parts is right at 500. Seems like a great deal. And worth the piece of Mind having fresh parts.
Last I need spark plugs. OEM style from oreileys should be good. I will check the dealer too.
