Default NVRLAND's 16 GS350 F-Sport Build

2016 Ultra White GS 350 F Sport w/ Rioja Red Interior

November 2016: Stock Vehicle
The vehicle arrived with these black chrome rims which at first I wasn't fond of. I had the option to swap them with the 16/17 F-Sport Rims but these ended up growing on me and I decided to keep them. Was planning on changing them anyways.

Modifications:
  • Tanabe Lowering Springs
  • Takeda CAI
  • Invidia Midpipe
  • Joe Z Axle back
  • Megan Racing Camber Arms
  • Tanabe Strut Bar
  • Apexi Throttle Controller
  • Vossen VFS 2 Rims (rim & tire size below)
  • (removed) Akata 15mm & 20mm Spacers (Used w OEM Rims before Vossens)
Cosmetic Changes:
  • Carbon Fiber Wrapped Roof
  • Chrome Delete Roof and Trunk
  • Debadged Rear "GS 350"
  • Removed Fake Lexus Exhaust Tips
  • Burnt Titanium Quad tips but with stock diffuser
  • Carbon Fiber Spoiler (came w/ vehicle)
  • Carbon Fiber Lexon Replica Front Lip

Reviews of Modifications:
  • Tanabe Lowering Springs: I really love the way the vehicle sits on these springs. Sits nice and flush with no wheel gap. Overall ride is very smooth, just like OEM.
  • Takeda CAI: You feel a small power gain from this cold air intake. My vehicle did not come with a sound generator, but the growl from this intake is amazing. Absolutely love the way it sounds.
  • Invidia Midpipe w/ Joe Z Axle Back: The midpipe does not have secondary cats, making it much much louder and deeper from the stock midpipe. With the Joe Z axle back, it sounds amazing with very little drone compared to the Invidia catback exhaust which people say does have a loud drone.
  • Megan Racing Camber Arms: Camber Arms...they adjust the camber...they do the job.
  • Tanabe Strut Bar: I do feel a tighter control when making sharp turns w/ the strut bar. Not a crazy change but does make you feel more in control.
  • Apexi Throttle Controller: One of my favorite modifications to this vehicle. 100% recommend to people who are interested. Been on my GS for a year and have had 0 issues. 7 different modes. I use 3 and they are amazing. No lag when giving 100% throttle.
  • Vossen VFS 2 Rims: 19x9.5 with 255/35/19 (Front) and 19x11 with 295/30/19 (Rear). It is an odd set up I will agree but I am really satisfied with it. Did have to roll fenders a bit but it sits very OEM and can't tell. I love these rims. They look amazing in Gloss Graphite on the GS no matter the color.

Wow that was quick.

Let me know if you need a Lexon diffuser for your quad exhaust system or if you need anything else.

Update:
Painted brake calipers gold.

Hated driving on springs and since I am running a wide set up in the back its hard to have people sit in the backseats. Pulled the plug and ended up getting Air Ride Suspension. Love the bagged look plus I can keep my 295s and just raise the height. Installing the suspension next week and running electrical. Will have pictures soon

Car is looking great, what part of Texas are you in? I'm still on stock suspension with awd and was looking that the springs, they just didn't ride well? I don't want my ride quality to be effected but I'd like to lower it. How hard is a air install for DIY?

Houston. It rides pretty close to the stock ride but just a little more bumpier, if that makes sense. If you hit a bump you'll feel it a lot more with the springs. Just more jumpy. Springs do the job for lowering the car but you don't want to stay on them in the long run. I would honestly have gone with BC Coilovers at first but I got a great deal on springs so I hopped on it. The Air Ride Suspension is quite easy tbh. Not too hard of a DIY.

funny how the car came with older fsport wheels as an option.
lovely progress, and air suspension added in the mix as well.
i can dig removing the faux factory exhaust 'tips' and adding the burnt quad units, tasty!

Thank You!
Yeah hahaha they did come with the car and Lexus was planning on swapping it for the 16 F-Sport wheels but I kinda liked the black chrome. Plus I was planning on swapping the oem rims out anyways so it didnt bother me. OEM rims are just backups to me, or spares.
