IS250 to 3UZ-FE 6a/t
Not sort of build thread as two cars are completed already. Just thought I never posted them here
Key features: clean install, stock looks, everything working including TRC & VSC, best 0-100kmh time is 5.8 so far
Fully stock internals but higher flowing headers plus reprogrammed factory 3UZ ECU. a/t software is stock yet so a bit of improvement is still possible
Running single ECU to control everything
Test clips go below with more to come
1 - the very first test of VSC , with instrument cluster still needing a few bits addressed
2 - short overview, English subtitles available (turn subtitles on )

Thanks!
No idea how much BHP but it accelerates to 100km/h in 5.7 sec. (98 octane)
Most of the difficulties arise when you're trying to mate climate control, instrument cluster, trc & vsc systems.
Mechanically, proper variant of 3UZ almost bolts up, and engine bay has enough space for bigger headers (at least stock 1uz ones)

Just proper engine donor, proper mounts and it all but bolts up
As for a/c , dash, TRC/VSC , can be done using either CAN bus adapter or ECU reprogram. Currently I'm able to perform in any mentioned ways for JDM and EU ecus. Working towards getting USDM cars for tests
I don't have too much time for photos, here are few more

Thanks for the pictures! Very neat work. As for the ECU stuff, I do follow your FB-group and have seen your "MPX converting boxes" But can you actually reprogram the ECU to correct MPX signals to eliminate that box? Can you tune the engine map in the ECU aswell to suit different upgrades on the engine? Does a JDM ECU works together with a Techstream?
Sorry for all the questions

Thank you! Now working on reprogramming of ANY 3uz-fe ecus (including ALL 5a/t types), and in particular, modifying these ecus for m/t
I will probably build is250 with 3uz and m/t with my collegue from UK (phoenixenginemanagement.com)

Big thread revival! Forums still exist!!!
I found myself in possession of a crashed UZS186 Toyota Crown Majesta. It still runs, drives. I have every single part of it to make it work in any conversion. I think.
The Lexus IS250 is starting to look like a cost effective donor to put my 3UZ into.
From what I can tell, it will bolt in 100% I've done many part number cross referencing to confirm. Even the rear crossmembers are the same!
Would it be fair to assume that I will run into issues with CAN BUS regarding things like AC function and instrument cluster displays?
Cheers Brad
