Default 1997 sc300 na-t

picked this gem up for 1000 bucks, 1997 sc300 black on tan, 246k miles, runs and drives perfect. i come from a background of hondas so i can make things work on the cheap. CXracing turbo kit, still needs a lot of work, im currently looking for cheap ecu solution that will work with the stock auto most likely aem fic6, plans for a manual swap and standalone ecu but i didnt realize how expensive a manual swap would be for these cars, like i said comin from hondas. w58 seems no point for power holding to cost, so r154 looks like my answer. still will be cheaper than buying a stock 5 speed considering i got this for 1k and cheapest good 5 speeds around me are 4k-5k. still has a ways to go but its off to a good start, this is a back burner project when i cant do anything on my honda projects, car is for drift and drag, unregistered

upgraded spark plugs and wires, cleaned the engine up a bit, clear cam cover, dumping oil into oil cap hole with secured tube for now, the plan is to add an oil cooler and drain into the low oil level sensor spot with a T fitting. intercooler and piping all mounted, oem toyota 4 runner distributor cap with spark plug wires 1 and 2 swapped to reach, 4" 45 silicone bend, 4" short pipe, 4" KN air filter. got the AEM FIC6; still undecided on getting a plug n play harness like boomslang, expensive for what it is, same thing for one of my hondas would be 1/5 the price. after the aem is hooked up i need to address the crankshaft pulley, its very wobbley and apparently these are common failure. will upgrade timing belt at same time as well as radiator, add AT cooler, and AC delete. then ill start sourcing manual transmission parts
