Total props for the build and commitment! It must feel transformed with the cage.

Just three track days last week. First was too crowded to get clean runs as it was an SCCA Track Night. Now this weekend was a two day event and I smashed my previous PB by over two full seconds. I went from a 2:04.9 last year down to a 2:07.6 this year. lol One of the other guys in the advance group with me who was running a brand new Z06 said and I quote "that car runs good" To challenge my self I brought my supercharged FRS to the track too. Its a manual and supercharged making over 330 wheel on E85. Enjoy (Video to come cant seem to get them shareable off my Facebook page)

For comparison my FRS same day only second time at track car is quick best looking 2:07 versus ISF 2:02.7

For reference last year lap at a 2:07 (I did get this down to a 2:05) on the previous set up.

So the faster I get the more G's Im pulling in the corners. I noticed in my home track in tend to fill up my catch can quickly after a fresh oil change. Id even blue some smoke coming out of a high g right sweeper leading into a step climb. I was running Mobile One Synthetic 5w30 now Switched to Redline 40WT. That and I upgraded the catch can and picked up RR Racing oil cooler.

Were you seeing consistent high oil temps before installing the cooler? And if so, in what kind of ambients/conditions? I'm in TX and will be tracking soon so naturally concerned, though it'll be next summer before the IS-F is ready and I'm tracking consistently. Also, with so much invested in the cage and weight reduction, are you planning on adding RRR's SC at some point?

Honestly in Western PA never got too hot.where it would go into limp mode but I was filing up the catch can constantly. Now I switched up the oil to Redline 40wt so the thicker oil shouldn't slop around as bad as the 30w. The main reason I switched is the catch can would fill and Id get blow by in the one high G section of my local track. Its a 1.2 g right turn into a step climb wide open throttle so Id blow smoke and get black flagged especially after a fresh oil change. Otherwise the catch can would be fine but I didnt want to take anymore chances on getting black flagged.

Im not interested in a supercharger at this time car has plenty of power traction is the issue I have. lol
