To be honest with you, I don't think it's a huge deal because most of the dealerships in my area remove the factory courtesy lights and replace them with projectors that have the dealership name.

I wish it was my Alfa...but unfortunately it isn't
The GS coutesey lights are great. Just what I was looking for; a nice, clean, factory look. I can't stand the old halogen bulbs, so these are perfect.

What is the difference between the stock F sport intake box and filter compared to the F sport one you have? Anything?

Default F-Sport Intake

The F-Sport filter is reuseable and doesn't need to be replaced, only cleaned at normal service intervals. I like it because it is a dry drop-in filter and should (theoretically) help the car breathe better, although I doubt it actually increases hp.

The upper air box is changed in shape slightly, but again, I doubt it really does much. The only reason I went with the F-Sport intake setup is because I rather not suck in extra hot air....the air is hot enough here in Florida lol.

Makes sense to me. Where did you get it from and what did it cost you?

Question

My dealership just got in the facelifted USB IS and I can't tell if I love it or not.

The tails are interesting. On the one hand I really like the new led reverse lights, while on the other, I strongly dislike all the amber they used.

What are your thoughts?

Hey mjh09e, I'm new on this forum and just purchased a 2016 IS 350 F Sport. Love the color you choose! I saw that your looking to do the 19" F Sport Forged. I just put those wheels on myself. Going to start a build thread and would love to discuss suspension when your there. I'll post some pics.

Hey Erik! Welcome to ClubLexus and congrats on the new car! It's an awesome community. My Swift Springs go on Saturday morning, so I'll keep you posted. I'll also ask the shop what they think about running 19' wheels. I plan on mounting Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires and they have pretty big square sidewalls, so they will know if it will work.

Thanks! I haven't looked into Swift yet. I was looking at RS*R just because the difference in drop is listed at about 1/2" greater in the front. I went with Continental Contact Extremes 275/30 in the back and 235/35 in the front. The back only needs about 1/2 drop but the front could use 1 1/2. Not sure if I can post pics but will as soon as the site allows.

Talking Forged F-Sport Wheels Installed

Installed the full faced forged 19" today!

Went with 225/35/19 front and 255/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Very pleased with the result, but could use a 10mm spacer in the front.
