going to the junkyard to get some parts and what i see? a black interior gs430. it was missing the door panales so i had to paint them

then tax return kicked in aaaaaand megan racing coilovers and RPF1s (front 18x8 ET40 255/35/18) (rear 18x9.5 ET38 285/35/18 ).

at first i had the megan racing lowering springs. so this is the BEFORE

AFTER

i didn't really like how the front came out. but i was trying to fit the wheels without doing any fender work. but i might buy different offset, slimier to the rear ones later.

as per today the car is in the shop getting new paint new color. i boght the front lip. i also bought the oem spoiler from the junkyard. And the brackets things for the spoiler from Toyota. the color i went with is the carbon black from BMW ( code 416 ) and it should be ready by the 20th of this month.

Nice work. I purposely bought a GS400 so I wouldn't get tempted to do a swap but my Supra has a VVT-i GTE single turbo making a hair over 800HP on stock bottom and now I want to do something with GS lol. Swap into a GS300 is easier than the 400 so may look for one and do that or bite bullet and swap into my 400. Plan is small single and 450HP no rush though. Reading through your build was great looking forward to more updates on paint etc...

SO the last thing was the paint.
the color is BMW CARBON BLACK
i always loved this color. its black in the shade and dark blue when a bright light hits it. i love it.
Anyways, this is how she look now

thats my daily! the corolla with the white rpf1s

i changed some stuff this week
i put bigger muffler tips. not too big. and they look as the stock ones, oval shape.
another thing is that i put the passenger side fog light back on and moved the maf sensore to the outlet of the intercooler.
ill try to take pictures tomorrow.

Beautiful job on the paint, carbon black is my favourite black for paint on cars.

you know i was going to sell this car in few months. if you're interested. nothing wrong with it, it's just that i'm just a student in the US and graduating soon. so i'll have to leave the US when i'm no longer a student lol

my next plane was to buy a standalone and make around 450hp. but when i sell it i'm gonna sell it with the stock ecu and keep the standalone for my next project back in the middle east lol.

was it worth the time and money going single? did you notice improved acceleration in the lower rpms vs. the twins setup? obviously makes more power up top but im interested in the performance of single building boost in the lower rpms like before 3500.

TBH i really loved the twins the only reason i upgraded to single is because on of them got damaged started blowing oil all over the place. too much lag with the single turbo. if you have one with the twins, keep them.
