I am having a persistent CEL and VSC lights on problem in my 2003 Lexus rx300. I bought the 4wd fairly used with both CEL and VSC lights indicating. I had it scanned and got the codes P1135 and P1155. I bought genuine Denso a/f sensors with product no. 89467-48011 and had the old/damaged ones replaced yet both CEL and VSC wont go away.
I have done the resetting severally by pulling-off the negative battery head, and both the 20amps EFI fuse as well as the 7.5 ECU-B fuse. yet both lights come on seconds after starting the engine.
Scanning still shows both error coded even after the replacement. On one occasion though a scan showed/revealed faulty wiring which my auto electrician isn't sure where from.
Both sensors appear to be working though. My mechanic unscrewed the front sensor, after idling the engine for about 10 minutes, and it was extremely hurt and dark coffee brownish.
Does any one have any advice?
