What's up guys! I'm relatively new to the whole forum thread thing, but I decided to make a build thread of my car. It's gonna be a long, dragged out process... but why not! There's a lot of things that have already been done that I didn't get pictures of, but I'll list everything done and get more intuitive with future posts. Big things are coming soon, so I wanted to share them with you all

The Goal: Reliable clean daily on the weekdays, track slaying monster on the weekends. Too much to ask? We'll see!

Nothing too special so far. I've been saving for the big things. A few months ago I bought a W55 transmission from a guy in Knoxville for $500. Still have to source all the necessary parts like driveshaft, master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch pedal, brake pedal blah blah blah. If anyone has trans parts for sale let me know!

9/20/15: Sold my set of cobra wheels for these beauties 17x10.5 all around! The fronts hit the spindle so I'll have to get spacers, and extended wheel studs since the factory ones are too short..



9/21/2015: Been doing a little body work to the fenders to get rid of all that bacon lol. I'll start prepping the car sanding out all the imperfections soon to get it ready for vinyl I hate body work but it's looking a lot better than before! Also gotta figure out how to get this bumper to fit over my bash bar..




The pictures are random and taken at completely different times. I've been working on the fenders for a while now. That's why I have different wheels in each picture lol.

Is the car Auto or Manual?

 

It's auto right now. I have a manual trans to swap in, but I still have to find all the parts to do it.
