The stumps have a larger surface area than jack stands would so in theory the stumps should be more stable. Just because jack stands exist doesn't mean they are the only thing that can support a car, they don't do anything different than the stump would do to make it "safer"

Alrighty before we get a bunch of dudes raging through huffing and puffing about things to make themselves feel better about the fact there are women out there that work on their own vehicles, I was crawling out while my sister was taking photos. But it's the only photo I have of me whilst under the car so for candid pleasure there it is. And my stumps are safe trust me, much safer than the jack stands were. How about we have positive conversation about my build? Constructive?

Except you have no idea of the actual load capacity of a stump. Also read: stumps and cement blocks.

SMH, man the mods are slacking. Need to get in here and clean this thread up. Let's get more post about the car and less talking about jack stands and tree stumps people. When are the SSR's getting slapped on?

The SSR's are getting powder coated a gunmetal grey and will be going on with the help of serialnine after the manual is put back in. I'm doing a bunch of maintenance while I'm down there with it apart, so it's prolonged the process a little bit. And I'm also waiting on the driveshaft and shifter extension. Appreciate the real question.

Why would it need cleaning up? Did I offend someone? Was there name calling or something not in line with the forums rules?...

OP- You have a nice car; digging the fenders. A.S. has prob my favorite lip kit so that will be rad too. I'm sorry if something I posted gave you the wrong impression. I've just seen too many crazy things happen with stuff like that. Not trying to bully you.

Yeah I hated it when I first imported the car. And then it grew on me. And now I hate it again. Will be equipping it with new tails and headlights in the near future anyways so just leaving it until then. Yes SSR's will look much better I can't wait the rojams came with the vehicle on import. Not much of a chrome person myself but the Japanese love American style...go figure.
