Dragging driver side rear tyre

Dragging driver side rear tyre
I was about to drive my RX300, 2000 series one day when i discovered my rear tyre at driver side was not turning but dragging. I stopped the car and drove on R, there was no problem. I put it back on D and it drove normally. Since that time I didn't experience it again. But still curious to know the possible causes.l
