The evolution of my GS400

Thanks, I've thought about making a few more of them but have been too busy with work and my own projects.
Trying to buy a house so nothing major right now but found a great deal on a set of IS350 paddle shifters. The silver didn't match anything in the car so I painted them metallic grey to match the cluster bezel and center vents.
Working on wrapping up a suede headliner, just have to fix a few spots I'm not happy with and do the rear deck. Hopefully have that and the shifters done soon.

Going with an ivory headliner to go with the inner section of the seats and floor mats, think it's going to work, should have pics before too long.
Will be tearing into it again over the winter, got a few things planned for the engine bay and redoing the trunk one way or another, haven't decided whether to just continue the diamond stitching theme with the current layout or kill my trunk space with an edge lit floating amp rack that'd have more "show".
The rear bumper needs to be repainted due to a hit and run parking lot incident (the police didn't do anything despite having a witness and plate number) so I'm looking at having the cutouts modified for Porsche turbo style quad exhaust tips, don't think I've seen them on a GS before.

Thanks! Just got around to installing the paddles, played around with them a little and they're definitely more fun than the buttons. Still getting used to having them on the wheel, they're a tight fit to the signal and wiper stalks to leave room for my fingers between them and the wheel and honestly feel like they're in the way a little. I'm sure I'll get used to them quickly enough. Anyway, a couple pics.

Few shots from before the car went into storage for winter.
Starting the winter build work, I've always loved Ordens and a buddy gave me a deal I couldn't pass up on these, 19x11 and 19x12 +7, way more aggressive than I would've planned on trying to fit but hoping I can make them work without relipping them narrower. Starting with stiffer coilovers and a suspension bushing overhaul and replacing alignment bolts since at least 2 of them are seized and age and mileage plus some alignment issues suggests bushings are probably worn enough to warrant replacement. Once that's done I'll have to make a call on how much fender work it'd take vs. relipping the wheels.

Congrats! Have u looked in to how much camber it'd take to bring them in to where u want them? Camber RCA and other Susp parts can be had for less than relipping them. Look into companies like You Zealand, figgs, formula, ikeya, Nagisa, etc. Less hassle too. And it sounds like you're going to be in there giving other Susp some TLC anyways!
