Yeah, I live in Louisiana and eventually want a vented hood but I have no idea what to do with the rain. The car will be garaged by then, but showers pop up out no where in Florida and Louisiana. I guess you can look into what they do on the RCF to handle this issue.

I doubt you'll really have an issue unless you daily drive it year round and completely neglect maintenance.

No third brake light for you? Debating if I want to just disconnect mine since 2 of the bulbs are out. (Replacing them won't do any good since it's some kind of wiring problem). Also don't want to get pulled over, but I've never heard of anyone actually getting pulled over for not having a third brake light...

2GS's with trunk spoiler don't have the high mount inside (since the spolier has a light). A lot of people use to swap to spolierless trunks and never added the high mount. It is illegal though so it can cause trouble if a cop really wants to mess with you or a shrewd motorists rear ends you.

Yea my car came with a spoiler that I removed. I added the third brake light on the rear deck but due to some problem in the factory wiring, 2 of the bulbs don't light up. It's a common problem when going from spoiler to deck. I've had it for like 2 years now I think and I'm close to removing it or just disconnecting it cause I cut a hole in the deck for the housing. I haven't had a cop pull up behind me in awhile *knock on wood*
