My 12 Matador Red IS250 AWD BUILD (Toronto)
Hey All! I have seen some amazing builds, so here goes anything!
Bought the car in September 2012, Brand new!
Here is how she looked:
After looking at those ugly halogens, I decided to change them to a white LED and 8K HID combination:
Next I decide to wrap the grille and mirror accents gloss black, paint the brake calipers red and plasty dip the rims black as I had very little money at the time to use on the car.
I then began to save up money in the winter of 2013 to mod my car. Then next thing I decided to do in early spring of 2014 was the exhaust as I had felt the stock exhaust was too quiet so I went to gtcustoms in pickering ontario where I replaced the stock axelback with a custom axelback exhaust.
Here is a link to the video of how the exhaust sounds:
After getting the exhaust done I decided to get a replica wald diffuser.
I then decided that to complete the look I would need a front lip, so I got a wald pu front lip which I test fitted and got painted to match the car.
After much debate and jokes from friend's I decided to lower my car from 4x4 status. So I then began my research on springs and coilovers. In the end I decided to get a set of BC coilovers which I can say ride just like stock

After:
Some shoots from my friend:
I then decided to get rims, as I got a deal I couldn't refuse and picked up a set of inforged 1812's 18X9 with +40 offset.
After that I decided to get something for the interior and bought a fsport shift ****
The last thing I decided to do for the end of 2014, which was by far one of my favourite mods this always puts a smile on my face was blacking out my headlight housing.
That's it for now and if want to see how my build is going follow me on instagram @sicredis . Also if you where wondering where I got my front lip painted you should checkout @kierontang on instagram and where I got my headlights blacked out as I was afraid of breaking them checkout @tlmnick as he does this professionally.
If your in the Toronto area feel free to message me on facebook at Timothy Alladin, as I am always down to help and meet fellow lexus enthusiast.
Here are some pics of me and my friend's car from 2014:

I had a feeling! I knew something looked familiar... turns out i've been subscribed to both of yours already hahahaa
I cant remember if ive already asked:
-how many inches did you lower? (fender to ground height)
-any issues with tire wear (camber)? Any plans to buy camber kits?

Car is looking great! Agreed that the black housing on the headlights really looks good with that color.
I have a question tho, why your car has 06-10 headlights if your car is '12?
