Default Old blue hair the resurrection.

I just picked up my first gen 2 gs300 like 2 days ago off Craigs.* For 3k I can't complain the car has 140k miles dealer maintained with all receipts.* But it is not with out its flaws the bumpers mirrors and door handles all suffer from sunfade the main body is in fairly good condition.

So I sent the car over to Elevens paint and fiber to start the proccess of getting the bumpers and mirrors repainted.* The door handles will be next since I am on a budget like most people and really I am only trying to keep this build pretty minumal unlike my SC300 I have.
As for parts in the last few days I ordered a complete LED light kit interior and exterior including the headlights.* Next I ordered a new radiator from performance radiator and new hoses from lexus the one in the car appears to be original and in need of being replaced since it looks like it is about to crack.* I also Found 4 New Struts from Toyota and L-Tuned lowering springs so that I can keep my ride quality but be a little lower these are coming from a member of CL.* Last I am swapping the wheels out for some factory chrome wheels to help give it a little more luxery look than the plain aluminum ones.
I will keep this updated as time goes on planes are to do a Aristo swap by the end of the year and really keep that looking factory with the side mount intercooler and all.

Here is my SC300 just for some Bling in here

I am super happy with the work Elevens did on my car in helping me be on a budget. My front bumper and rear bumper and mirrors were all very sunfaded and the color match is great for matching 17 year old paint.

Before

After

I also had the mirrors done since they were in simaliar condition

Didn't think you'd be getting a GS. Interested to see what you do, looks like a good starting point!

Today I went ahead and did some fixed upgrades that included door, trunk, and running lights all led and also low beam head lights.

I am waiting on the led bulbs for the fog lights and the high beams.

Next will be factory chrome wheels and new window tint and engine oil and trans oil change on Monday.

So I don't think my filters have been changed in 30k miles.

Ya there is a lot of it to do. Engine oil was also done at the dealer and this weekend I am changing the trans pan gasket and fluid.

Nice GS and a seemingly great price, props for the maintenance first piece...that air filter was horrible, lol. Anyway congrats with re-paint this turned out quite nice!

I have done a few things to the car the last few weeks seeing how its my daily and just want to keep it clean and simple.
I had the windows retinted with 5% and put factory chrome wheels on along with a new shift **** and some clear corner lights.

Next up will be to rebuild my front door lock actuators this weekend
Also my blower motor stopped working and I found that the blower motor controller is at fault so I am in the look out for one since dealer is running like 200 for one.

Well I am picking up a new blower controller tomorrow from a local member so I am happy to have my ac working.
Today in the mail I got my front poly bushings so those will be on the list in the next few weeks.

Today I got a few things done new Ltuned struts and springs and new strut tops. I also replaced the upper control arm bushings.

After new parts

I also rebuilt both front door lock actuators and still have to do the tears as they are also half working.
