Hi guys, I have a 2007 IS250, I purchased my vehicle about 3+ years ago used and from day one had headlight issues as far as visibility. First I thought the bulbs were just dim so replaced with aftermarket 6K bulbs and didn't fix the problem, but then had them adjusted and wow what a difference seems like they were literally facing down to begin with so everything was good. A few months later I started to realize the lights were shining wayyy to high up so went to adjust them again and it "seems" as if the ***** to adjust them just keep turning but nothing is moving so I assume they are broken...
My question is I currently have stock hid ballast with aftermarket bulbs, I've been looking to purchase brand new headlights both driver and passenger side from local shop or ebay but notice they say the headlights are "Halogen" I wanted to know what issues I may run into as far as installation of the new headlights. Will I still be able to use my hid kit? Or will I have to purchase/rewire an aftermarket one and if not is it just as simple as bolting on new headlights and snapping back everything or the connections overall different?\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
if you have HID which i believe is part of AFS then you need to buy headlights with AFS/HID because these turn with your wheels and the AFS light will light up on your dash if you go halogens.
