Just dropping by to say I've always like the path you've taken with your IS-F and the selective mods you've included with your build through the years.

I completely agree with what you mentioned in your first post about being obsessed with discovering the theoretical potential of these cars. I try to do the same with the IS350 side of the 2nd Gen IS.

Continue on your path with being a trend-setter on what the IS-F can do!

Thank you very much. I always try for function over form. It's not that I don't like visual mods on cars, it's that I can't justify a "pretty" mod until all my performance mods are finished...and they never are.

BTW, I got a new vehicle on Saturday. I traded in my 2014 Ram 1500 (and lost all my mods). I feel great about my decision though and am daily driving a 2016 Titan XD Cummins Pro4X now. 555 lb-ft at 1600 rpm feels nice and relaxed. I have always liked the powertrain and fit and finish Nissan put into the new Titan XD, but it was too close in price to the 3/4 tons from Detroit. Then came crazy rebates from Nissan for the 2016s and I walked away with a Titan XD for 12k below MSRP. Let the modding begin!!! I'll have to get a trailer soon and start trailering my ISF to track weekends.

Thanks. I'm enjoying the truck immensely so far. I plan on being very methodical in how I modify it though. I want to keep this thing for a good 10 years.

Awesome build thresd. Love what you've done with your F. Those enkei look so clean, when it comes time for new wheels I'll probably go with that setup!

^^^ Thanks.

On a separate note, I figured I would post my best time from the drag strip last night here as well. I had all the traction I could hope for and never slipped a tire. The density altitude ranged from 2100 to over 2300 ft all night, so that affected the times greatly. With all the traction I had, it really highlighted how limited we are regarding the launch since the torque converter kills the power if you try to launch with rpm much above idle.

I just ordered one of these babies. I can't wait to try it out. I've wanted to order a GPS lap timer for a while, and I finally pulled the trigger.

EDIT: Unfortunately this order was cancelled by the seller because it comes out of Europe and there was an issue shipping anything with certain types of batteries...CRAP!!!

It's been waaay too long since I had her detailed. In all it took 9 hours for the guy to detail the inside and outside of the ISF and my wife's Cayenne. I managed to snap a quick pick as it was getting dark before the cars was finished. She cleans up pretty nicely for being as old as she is. It's funny, if you look closely you can see some chunks of rubber behind the rear tire that weren't washed down the driveway...The backside was completely covered in rubber after a few trips to the dragstrip.

I've been holding off modifying the ISF recently as I focus on my DD...my Titan XD Cummins. I always try to get as much tire under a vehicle as possible and the XD is no exception.

You're in MD? Which track did you hit? Looks like a MIR slip? How do you determine the DA?
