Default J5

Would you recommend the J5 coilovers? If you have time, can we get a bit more thorough review? Thanks!

Where did you get the quad tips for your ARK exhaust? How were they fitted on? Looks good.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Here is the current status of things:

Removed the BlackPearl body kit and currently test fitting and installing the ARK Solus Widebody. Just started to cut the fender.

So far it's been a solid coilover. It's a bit on the pricey side I admit but it does perform well since it still allows us to use the factory AVS system. The spring rate is perfectly balanced for a stock IS that gives a decent comfortable ride while allowing you to throw it aggressively in the corner. On a side note, because of the added weight and some downforce from the Voltex GT wing, I found that I had to be careful as the spring compressed a bit more than I liked. Once again, stock IS should have no issues with this setup. Two thumbs up!

Endless brake pads

Quite pricey but definitely helps with less brake dust generation and increased stopping power. Disregard the SSM Set number as this was brought over from Japan and the numbers are slightly different now

UPDATE: widebody installation

Front and rear fenders have been cut to make room for the new wheels. Next step is to weld the reinforcement sheet and prime the areas. Widebody pieces are on their way to be painted.

Front fender hacked off to make room for the new shoes.
Rear fender cut with reinforcement sheet in place

Wow I'm assuming all in all, this job costs over 4K including parts?

With our CAD conversion being terrible it's quite a bit more.

The kit alone was around 4k and the labour will fetch you starting around 7k (paint and install) and up to the shops I talked to.

Hey man, the front spec was 19x9.5 +35 and the rear was 19x10.5 +43. I would caution that this setup was pretty agressive as a few mm of the wheel stuck out of the fender

235/35 on the front and 265/30 on the rear. A bit on a stretched size for the wheel sizes
