Painted and installed. I'll take some better pictures with a real camera someday soon.
Fitment was perfect before the body shop installed it - they put the tape everywhere except where I told them to, so I'll also be pulling it off and re-sticking it; hopefully tonight.
Well, I'm at it again... I just rolled 100k miles, so I'm getting bored with the car so I just ordered 20" concave wheels (AXE EX18), and the IKON Esprit bumper conversion to match my updated headlights... I'll be sure to post pics soon...
Nice build so far! Surprised you didn't have the urge to mod the car for almost 4 years lol. Looking forward to the new bumper, the Esprit version is so cool

i did quite a bit in the beginning, but have been busy running my companies. With my wheel cracking, it was a good excuse to do a few things. Still only has 105k miles so I’m not done abusing it yet!

fitment is 8/10, finish 8/10 - I took some work to get it on, and there are some minor issues that I can deal with. I cracked a small corner around the headlight because it’s been hit in a parking lot and the headlight bracket is slightly off, making the first fit very tight - the bend on the bracket is so minor I forgot about it. There is also a small gap on the sides of the hood, but again - my hood was a little bent and had been repaired so I’m not sure if it would be better with a perfect hood. Once I get it all painted I’ll drill and install a new rubber gasket that should hide it all. After paint, I honestly don’t think anyone other than me will ever notice the flaws... overall it looks pretty amazing.
I most likely will I’ll have to roll and pull the rear fenders to fit the rear 20x10.5” +42 wheels, but it should look great. I only went with 20” because they were about $1000 cheaper with decent tires.
Wheels & Tires came in! Fit is perfectly flush, no rubbing (ran through the paces), no fender rolling needed after all. 245/30/20 +38 up front, 275/30/20 +42 in the rear. Paint next week on the front end!
The tyres don't look safe on the rims don't track it.
Why would you say that? They aren't stretched and have a fair amount of meat and are W-rated. I tossed it around a little on my way home... actually feels pretty good.

must be the style of that rim lip or the curve on that tire...for a 275 on 10.5, it looks stretched.

yeah - the lip is very square and the reflection makes it look odd. They aren’t really stretched, but the tires do flex a little - braking hard into a corner doing 140 on the interstate was a little dicey (no other cars for miles, just pushing it a little). I honestly can’t tell if it’s the added weight that throws it off or the tires though.
