senxation's 2008 is350 Build Thread
Hey CL,
I am fairly new to this forum and I would l introduce myself. I am from Calgary, AB in Canada where the weather is known to be bipolar here haha. In summer, it is awesome, but when winter comes, it seems as if it just stays for about six months until spring comes around again. My previous car was a 2000 Acura Integra GSR which I've owned for 2 years until I got rid of it for something better, the is350. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...i/IMG_1403.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...i/IMG_1332.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...i/IMG_1325.jpg After selling it in late August, I got the chance to pick up a 2008 Starfire pear white is350. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/image-12.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ds/image-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ds/image-4.jpg It also came with TE37's on some Tein S tech springs for now, and along with a fabulous lip. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ds/image-2.jpg I love the lighting on the car :D, factory HID with some 3k temp fog bulbs. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ds/image-3.jpg My first mod was to get the roof wrapped gloss black. Here is the comparison from white to black. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ds/image-5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ds/image-6.jpg Headshot. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ds/image-7.jpg My next mod was to change out the orange standard DRL with some yellow DRL lights from Auto Value for that JDM look, and ordered some eBay LED for the parking light. Not sure why, but the parking light isn't as bright. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ds/image-9.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/image-10.jpg Here is the car now on winter tires because snow is coming soon. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...ds/image-8.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/image-11.jpg |
Wow, must be a night and day difference from your Integra. I bet you love your IS. Looks good so far

What sort of bags do most people go with? I was looking to UAS bags but I was told that the bag would not have enough clearance when airring down. So I've had a couple places telling me to get the Air Force Struts that are like this off of a CL member who's selling them: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/att...917_133550.jpg Do those bags work the same even though they look different from UAS ones? |

Thanks Jump2man3! I did indeed check out your build yesterday and it is going great! I am looking into bags because in winter, it just gets tough driving around slammed and I am pretty lazy to adjust it every time the season changes. So I figured I'd go with bags because I want the car slammed :D

This is such a long time since I've updated anything.. There were a few problems that had occurred.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...i/IMG_6692.jpg I got into a car accident in winter and that happened.. After a bit of waiting, I finally got it back and decided to get some coil overs during the downtime BC Racing 16k/14k specs http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/image-26.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...i/IMG_7581.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...i/IMG_7467.jpg Got some wald skirts and the spoiler too.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/image-27.jpg How it sits now. |
After getting my rear lip on and heading towards the University to study.. my passenger rear tire sidewalls blew.
How she currently look with the rears on sort of. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...s/image-28.jpg |
Totally forgot about CL because I've been way to busy. Here are some photos captured by Jayhoang on CL as well! Enjoy.
