The Clutchmasters Clutch is Rated at 600 ft lbs. But I also got the full race disk so it may be higher. It is the FX400 Series disc

The Quicktime Bellhousing is made out of Steel.

The cast aluminum bellhousing is made by Castlemaine Rod Shop (CRS) which is based out of Australia. But Grannas buys them in bulk and sells them.

Ryan, looks like this is going to be a very productive winter? Can't wait to see once the Tremec swap is complete.

The Tremec is not a GM or Ford Transmission.

A Tremec T56 is 100% aftermarket transmission. It is only made by Tremec.

Here is straight from TREMEC for clarification:

Magnum 6-Speed Transmission

The kingpin of TREMEC's high performance line-up, the T-56 Magnum double-overdrive 6-speed transmission takes the very best from TREMEC's current OEM technologies and pairs it with the most popular features of the TKO 5-speed.

Able to withstand a massive 700 lb-ft. of torque while providing unbelievably crisp shifts, no other manual transmission on the planet offers as much combined strength, versatility, and general ease-of-use as the T-56 Magnum.

Known in its original equipment form as the 'TR-6060', the Magnum is an aftermarket version of the same transmission found in many of today's most celebrated factory super cars – including the ZR1 Corvette and ACR Viper – giving you refinement where you want it and strength where it counts.

I never looked in to the Tremec T56 when I started, so how do you compare this over a v160? now that the v160 is over priced

You will need the Tremec Magnum for the GM Applications . One of the difference from the Ford Application will be their clutch type. One is hydraulic and the other mechanical.

Correct but if you look on the site there was a ford style and a Gm. Gerrb answered though so I know we need the GM style.

Mike this is a fairly new setup that has picked up steam due to the v160 being discontinued.

I will be installing the clutch setup and bellhousing this weekend. Stay tuned for updates.

Best information can be found by looking at Grannas Racing. Joel is a really knowledgeable guy.

Start here: He outlines a lot of the information

Been working on the car alot recently....got the flywheel clutch and bellhousing installed. Swapped over the TRD LSD to the 4.08 gearing. Next up is just to purchase transmission and have local driveshaft shop make me one to adapt the t56 up the differential. I will be using the stock 5spd rear half section and they will be using that to add onto for correct length and yoke for the t56.

Did get a recent feature in a local car scene group. Which i though was pretty cool.

Scroll down to feature car of month.

Thanks Gerry,

I got the flywheel, clutch and bellhousing all bolted, TRD LSD has been swapped over to 4.08 rear end.

Saving up some funds for the Tremec.
