Thanks fellas. Yes just the front, I like the Wald side skirts I have better and the aimgain rear is too VIP for my car. I like real exhaust tips opposed to the LS style.

Car is being prepped for widebody now. Custom front control arms for more camber up front, relipping my wheels and then i can stick her in the shop for a while. So don't expect a finished aimgain front until the widebody is done

2jz died after talking to Chase Philips from Evasive Motorsports and Ryan from rywire. I can post up their input on the swap, but essentially I couldn't stomach having my car in the hands of my friend knowing all the big obstacles. For certain items they told me basically don't waste my time. Maybe when the car is older. I had just been under the impression a swap keeping minimal functions was "easy" but it's not.

What widebody are you planning on doing? Mold or bolt on?

I'm doing a "widebody" as well, but it's actually more subtle like fender flares so nothing crazy.

Designing myself, but it will be a seamless job, no rivets or bolt on look. About 1.5" wider front, about 3" wider rears.

Thanks man. Keep up the work on your car too, i like to see the handful of us left that still enjoy pushing these cars outside the box.

I kinda like the rivets look. Do one side rivets and none on the other so I can make my choice haha

You are one BAMF! You should do the spindle grille conversion like RVCAis250.

LOL Thanks! Dont like it for my car, it hides the intercooler . I just bought an Aimgain front bumper (See previous posts in thread). Aimgain > 3IS front for me. AND copying isnt cool, we all know who the originator was RVCA . haha

RVCA is another BAMF. Imitation is the best form of flattery. I don't think RVCA is the only person who has done the conversion tho.

Didn't he do the 4GS conversion not the 3IS?

Yeah CCJ (Jay) did the 4GS conversion. HKS350's legendary self I think was the guy who started the whole conversion hype when he did the 4GS too. All good, they each had great looking cars, RVCA too still.

Brakes are going off to powder coat this weekend probably, barrels still haven't been ordered (waiting on quote). Miss driving my car so much right now. Lol

A little lighting action.

The individual LEDs are on with the fogs, DRL, and also function as the blinkers. Pretty cool. So they also flash with the alarm unlock/lock.
