Worked on the harness a bit more. Does anyone know where I get the 12v source for the lq9 coils. Would pin 31a b+ work? The wire is small just wondering if it will hold. What pin do I use for Ecu ground?

Braid nylon about 75% of the harness.

I would assume its safest to use the 12v from your old igintor's 12v wire or the old coils 12v wire. both of those are on the efi fuse that will have enough power.

Use the ignitor 12v like Ali said, I used 31 and it kept tripping a fuse.

Igniter isn't on the engine harness. I was trying to keep it clean looking. I see a black plug with two big pin in the middle and 6 pin on each side. I'm thinking of using that power wire. It's a plug on the engine harness but connect to something in the kick panel.

it should really be on something tied to the large efi fuse/relay that can handle the amps or you may keep blowing fuses.

Harness is complete.I used pin 78b for the Ecu ground and I will be using the igniter 12v power. I used 51-57 for the 6 coil like you would a 2jzgte. I had a spare Ecu connector and added the extra pins.

Close up

Hopefully this weekend I will drop the engine in and off to the shop it will go to get the intercooler piping welded and downpipe fitted. I might fit the downpipe myself depending on how hot it is in Houston.

Is your lq coils bracket for a ge head? I purchased mine for a ge but have gte valve covers just wondering if you had to mod it any to make it work with the gte covers? Nice build btw!

Yea I had to put more spacers and mill notches for the vent tubes on the gte valve covers. I ordered the Ge ones because the head doesn't have bolt goes to attach them like the gte.

Also on your iacv I have the same flange and valve. Did you use the check valve and the black grommet under the iacv. Sorry for the hundred questions haha

Yes I did use both the check valve and grommet. You need to have it sideways to clear the coolant tubes from the intake manifold. Mine is really close cause I didn't take that into account instead I wanted a flatter surface. The reason why you use the gte iacv is because of the check valve for boost.

I'm useing a 7m gte iacv but I have a 2j check valve and grommet. But I noticed the bottom of my iacv is the same size as the gommet is it just suppose to squish between or actually seal around the bottom

Looks great, I always chop off those coolant tubes, they are press fit into the iacv, so if you can crush them with a large pair of pressure pliers you can twist and then work them out of the housing also. cutting is easier though.
2jzpowa, the 7mgte idle valve bolts on the same way as the 2jzgte one does and has the same check valve, but the check valve actually sits in a lip on the manifold side's flange, and when you bolt the iacv down it presses up against it if I remember right, so squish seal i guess.

Harness installed. Still need a few clamps to hold it under the intake manifold.
