Today put a little more work in the car.

Went to San Leandro this morning and had the fronts rolled

Then went to Hayward to get tires.

I'm a few days ahead of schedule so i'm happy. Still looking for a authentic TTE lip, but i might have to settle for a replica for now.. Hopefully Wednesday night i'll throw on the suspension and Thursday morning mount and balance the tires and start dialing in the suspension.

Yeah, good plan. That's exactly what i did. I was about to go air but the guy ended up flaking on me so after that i started researching coilovers. Almost bought PBM's (powered by maxx) but at the last minute decided to go with BC's. One, was that you could upgrade the springs to swifts. and second was you could now order it with the extreme drop kit. Most company's can do custom spring rates. Just make sure that if you need to replace something on your coilover if something was to ever happen, find one that has good customer service with as little down time as possible.

I had the rears relipped to 18x11 and fronts relipped to 18x10 with about +20 offset all around. Also had the lips and the faces fully polished, then translucent rose gold faces.

When is it? If i can get some San Jose people to go, i might consider.

So I ended up throwing the suspension and wheels on. I realized i was missing tools so i went to a friends house. Took us longer then expected, but got it done. Had to readjust the front so i could drive home. Need to do some fine tuning on the suspension. Figure tomorrow i should be done.

Once i finish tomorrow, i'll post some more up. My birthday is this Sunday and what better birthday gift then my friend Robert De shooting my car.

Yep, i spent about 3 months deciding on the color and the exact steps i wanted to do to get that shine. I almost did teal, but realized that teal was the most hyped up color for 2012.. so i took a risk and went different, glad i did lol

Thanks for the kind words.

you can still get "stance" with bags. It just all depends on what you want to do. I decided not to go bags because, plainly put, im a coilover kind of person. I've never been a huge fan of bags myself. The ride quality on bags depends on how you execute it. If you go UAS make sure to get good struts that people have proven run well with the bag over strut setup. If you go accuair, ksport, ect, look at reviews and people's feedback. Bags ride well if you have the correct set up. You just need to decide what you want to do and how you want to do it.
