how did you open the headlights?

I used a heat gun to open it up

Did you add more sealant put it back together? If so what did you use?

I removed most of the dried up sealant that seems too hard and I used a permatex weatherstrip adhesive from the auto part store. I laid a thin coat around the headlight and that was it. I've done other headlights before using this stuff and it seems to hold up.

Finally made it back to Seattle for the summer. Which means I got about a month to mess around with my car.

I was skeptical about painting my dash with SEM Landau Black but the results blew me away. I did a scratch test 8hrs after it was done because I was anxious and it held up. It took some pressure before I can scratch the paint off. I don't see myself putting that kind of pressure on most of the parts that I need to convert to black so I decided to go with SEM.

Had some time to work on the climate control since it was just sitting in the garage. I was planning to switch out to all leds but I didn't like the hotspots on the buttons so I kept it green. If I had more time I would solder individual led for the buttons. Maybe next time

don't mind the OFF button (I know it's on the wrong spot). Somehow it was laying around by itself and I didn't want to loose it so I stuck it on there.

The blue background is actually darker in person but that's how it turn out on the phone camera.

Here is another shot at night and again it's not that blue in person.
