The turbo is only a 62.5mm inducer - the surge portings make the intake look a lot bigger. I went for a turbo that will give a good balance of response and power delivery.

The 6 link bracing? Ebay ones - the genuine TOM'S ones have been discontinued and are very difficult to track down.

What upgraded did you do to the trans? Or did you buy a fully built trannys?? And did you have any probs mounting up your mani with the steering rack in the way?

When I get my aristo ill be running borg Warner sprag clutch kit, new kolene frictions and steals, BL/Titan 3400/3500 stall , shift kit and a tranny cooler! And either run my gt42r or just upgrade the stock twins to dual gt28s, and run it on hks fcon vpro 3.24 with hks evc6! Of course ill do a trd LSD with dual walboros 255 and id 1000cc inj.

Have just put a trans cooler on it - the 4 speed Aristo/Supra auto can withstand a reasonable amount of punishment if regulary serviced and cooled well - if I blow it up will swap in an R154/V161 depending on funds.

Mani was custom built on a JZS161 they had in the shop.

IMO - don't bother upgrading the standard twins, I looked into it, wasnt worth it for the expense and gains, I have heard reliability isnt great either - just go single.

Do you already have the 3.24 ECU, as the just released V4.00 integrates full VVTi control, and has an internal boost controller.

Yea I already have the 3.24! I picked it up for a decent price but if the 4.0 isn't to much more I can probably opted for that but ill see..

Well I have alot of people telling me to keep the gt42r and dump the twins. But thts a big turbo I have and would need my tranny built to hold some nice power. As far as aristo tranny it can only hold around 400hp from I have been looking up, unless someone's builds it...
