Also, when i pulled my dash. I broke my Wiper Lever. eBay "Make Offer" on one, i offered him $35. He sent it. Good deal.
old / new
unfortunately
i just tried to adjust the Blinker lever also, and when i opened it for inspection, springs and plastic pieces flew all over my garage.
I looked for everything but am still missing pieces.
dayum, gotta buy one of those now too
Pete, where is the shock tower bolt in that pic? is that the top of the ball joint on the UCA? I just lowered my car 3 turns all the way around and got new tires for the front...
Pete let me know if you scrub tire at the front of the wheel wells after. Close to where the abs sensor wires run. I'm on 20's so it's probably part of it.

BTW my mods aren't done to perfection... lol...

ok, coo. i will. i havent drove it yet. had to work on the other cars too. i will take her for a spin tomorrow and see if i say any cusswords over bumps
Thanks Pete... I just checked out the DIY and it seemed the OP is on air? Is this DIY only for people on air? I'm lowered also but not slammed and i've never heard any knock or bang from that area.. My concern now is that i'm rubbing the top of the fender liner when i hit dips in the road.. So i need a solution for that. Need to tighten the dampening up front i think

ha, yeah i just replied over there too. actually, i found the shock tower hole fix in the LS forum one day as i was just lookin around and they were all "static" drop solutions. i know i2ice was on air. but, its all the same to me, if you are banging it you WILL know. haha. not sure where your damping is but mine is one click from full stiff. and she still rides great. i love the way she feels where she is now

i had the same thoughts on dampening.. i think i'm at 10 or so so going to 15/16 would help i'm sure..
Just read most of the thread, loving the interior - makes me want to do something with my grey interior now!
thanks man. Go for it! wasnt as bad as i made it to be in my head

in my mind. the more smoosh you give it, the more bang she travels to slam back i might even put mine down to full

thanks Thomas. man! i was thinking they would include the bezel with the dash. the dash is out of an 01. i had to SEM paint my bezel.
---FYI---
For those wondering, i took her for a 70+ mile journey today. No hitting, rubbing, scraping banging and above all, no more of me cussing! I shoulda drilled those holes months ago. i even drove on some of the bumpier roads that i knew had shock tower bangs. no problemo
like, i would walk in my house, pull up the picture, stare at it, walk in the garage and drilled it about where i thought would be right. if you are using a 2.5 or even a 2.25in hole saw, you will be fine
So I really like the way your tires/wheels fit Seven... (here's your specs)
Front: - 19X8.5 +30 on 225/35R19
Rear: - 19X9.5 +25 on 255/35R19
I have an opportunity for a nice used set here but the specs are slightly different. In your opinion...would these work for me?
Front Size:19x8 Lip depth: 1.25" ET 2/0 Bolt pattern: 5x114 Tires: Potenza Sport 245/35R19 XL93W (almost new)
Rear Size:19x9.5 Lip depth: 2.75" ET 4/0 Bolt pattern: 5x114 Tires: Potenza Sport 275/30R19 XL96W (not much tread left)
Its a pretty good deal. TSW Jarama's in Hyper Silver with tires for about $600.
nice. thats not a bad looking wheel at all. i looked at those when i was searching for wheels myself. I could be wrong but a 275 tire in the rear if you are on coilovers may be a little too wide unless you got some skills at welding and bodywork
