I made it completely from scratch. Laid a bunch of fiberglass mat, shaped it, then wrapped it in carbon fiber.

Nice match. Did you find the airbag? I'm def. doing 80 air tint all around on my GS.

I had an airbag all along, but yes I just found a bomb that works. I'll detail it in the thread after I get the wheel installed.

 

I had read that the 98-00 GS's came with 2 different sized airbag bombs. Unfortunately my car had the 6 sided larger one. I needed a small 4 sided one. I found that celicas, rav4's and I'm pretty sure the IS300 all have the small bomb. I picked up one from a RAV4 airbag.

After staring at wood samples for a while at Lowes, I originally chose Minwax gunstock. Immediately after brushing a little on, I saw it was too dark. I then went got some Minwax golden oak (my second choice). I found that to be way too light. I got frustrated and mixed them together (maybe 65% golden oak, 35% gunstock). Still thought it was too dark, but after drying it came out pretty close.

 

That's a very good match.

 

No real updates to the car, but here are pics front the NO lakefront meet this Sunday. I really want a body kit and to get this thing lower.
