update:

swapped all interior and exterior lights with led's.
Also cured the brake light out warning light in the dash due to the low res from the led's
also fixed the fast flash due to same reason.
re did the exhaust. eliminated resonators and added an X-pipe with flowmaster 50's. sounds amazing. way more power to.

as for the brake lights there is a bulb out indicator module in the trunk on the driver side. its a black box neer a pioneer box. there is a purple thin wire that goes to it on pin #4 all you have to due is cut it. or you can open it up and clip the resistor off. there is a thread about it somewhere. i cant seem to find it thought at the moment sry.

and as for the blinkers i finally found the relay! its a pain in the *** to find and get to it. after pulling over the lower knee and kick panel the fuse panel is held on by 2 10mm screws. undo these then the whole board slides out from a clip. kinda easier to maneuver to get to the relay. Its inside a white clear container that the black box labeled power steering is braced on to. Found a no load relay for led's from super bright led's. CF13GL-02 LED Bulb Electronic Flasher. was 12$ way better than load resistors i dont have to work about the wires melting due to the heat from them.anyways the bulbs i got were from vleds and they are amazing and they are a tad brighter they seem. any questions let me know. i could do a write up or something.
Found an easier way to change this relay. If you use a screwdriver and push through the hole under the relay itll push the relay up and out instead of having to disassemble it all which is a pain. Also that relay went out fast. im now using the Tridon Relay from autozone. ep-35 i think it is.

while digging into the trunk looking for a gas problem. (forgot to mention that it smells like gas inside the car real bad sometimes. changed the gas cap, fuel filter and checked all the seals everything seems fine. not sure yet though. wheres the charcoal canister at though?

the trunk was filthy btw. seems there was alot of oil spilt. need to clean this up in the future.

reomved the six disc pioneer changer and noticed the silver braket it bolts up to. im thinking maybe i can use this as an amp rack for the future? looks weird now with nothing there but ill figure out something.
ill grab more pics also.

wow are you sure the gas tank itself isn't leaking somewhere?

I think drifter is on to something. I would pull that tank and check for leaks. Are there stains like that under the back seat?

that spill was oil. im pretty sure no leaks from the tank. i checked the seal as well smelled around it and everything. i haven't smelt it since i just changed the fuel filter and gas cap.
no stains anywhere.

kinda unsure what to do next with it really. i think want to focus on some performance areas though first before doing a BBK on it or lowering it.

def want to do something with the grille. i want to exchange it for a mesh grill. and take the chrome off of the trim of the grill. i want to paint it black. im not a fan of the chrome. and de badge the rear im thinking. Panting the rear lexus symbol black.

currently working on deleting the fogs and converting them into the highbeams.

kind of pointless IMO to have foglights still same level as the normal driving lights.

and im ready to throw my SS brake lines on but i want to upgrade the calipers.
i have been looking into the supra upgrade but not sure how i feel about them yet.

so did all the wiring for the high beams (through a relay) and im trying to use the h3c bulbs in the foglights as my high beams.

I have hids for the low beams

I still have no high beams though. nothing happens when i flick the lever.

everything is wired correctly.

any input?

i though about switching the pins in the headlight harness. havent tried it yet. lost day light

foglights are aimed to the foreground to light the road BELOW the lowbeams, whereas the highbeams light the road ABOVE the lowbeams. you will need to reaim your foglight to make them act like high beams, assuming they go high enough in the first place. they may just go high enough to act like lowbeams.

can you tell me how you wired your relay? these cars are ground switch systems, where the ground is being using to close the circuit with the switch, not the positive wire.

yes i found out they are ground switched. i had the bulbs grounded to the core support. so i formatted the plug and spliced into the headlight plug.

as far as them pointing down yes they do but technically they are my low beams now beacuse i had to switch the polarity on the headlight harness plug on the car side. so my hids are high beams now. i kinda like it that way.

has anyone ever cut out the lower valance under the license plate and replaced it with like a mesh grill or something?

i would love to have the mesh look for both upper and lower areas.
