Nice Job on the build. I would love to do something similar, but i do not think i can get the LMS S/C anymore. Unless someone is selling it one on the forums. The Arma S/C looks awesome also. If anyone is selling a S/C kit PM me.

Thanks

Thanks for the compliments.

LMS doesn't make the kit anymore, and they only sold a handful of them. They actually don't even "remember" much about the kits... I had to contact them when I bought it used last year and they were no help actually. I guess they move a lot of products and this was a short lived production so they didn't keep any info on it.

You can still pick up new HKS kits in Japan I believe.

Heyarms, would you recommend getting the vortech v3 sci or just got a hks kit from japan?

which one is easier / cost less?

thanks

O on a sidenote, there are no headers that would fit AWD right?
Also for AWD do i change the whole Exhaust system or only parts?

Thanks again

I would so boost mine. Would have to get a custom setup. I'm stuck with a IS250 for a while so why the hell not? I'd be completely different from all the stock IS's I see running around. lol

^ So true, it's fun to stand out

Small update:

Ordered a Snow Performance Stage 2 meth injection kit. Got caught up with aesthetics due to car shows and forgot to add this over the hot summer. Better late than never.

Meanwhile, after 14k miles, ran into my first "problem". I'm leaking boost pressure somewhere, most likely at the BOV. So need to address the leak before adding the meth injection. Currently can only hit 3psi opposed to the 7-7.5psi, otherwise car still runs fine and has been a blast.

Good to hear! The way the synapse and hks bov "snap" onto the mounting flange can be where youre leaking. Those snap rings are so tight they often wear the O-ring overtime creating leaks where the bov seats on the flange. Youll know right away when you go to remove the bov if that's the issue. Worst case, you need a new spring and flapper inside the bov....just buy a new one if that's the case.

Hmm thanks for the info. Since my BOV is exposed to the elements through the opening in my bumper, I'm going to continue to think this is where my problem is. Luckily I picked up an IS300 for a daily, so i dont have to drive the IS250 everyday (or in rain ) anymore. More time for projects on this car now
