Nice project. You plan on welding the upper to the lower runners?

I plan on doing a more thoroughly fabricated intake when I hit 400hp with this one.

For now, this one will stay bolted together with 5 out of the 7 bolts!

You can take the man out of a DSM, but you can't take the DSMer out of a man

Keep up the cool project!

I am laughing so hard right now!!

Only people who have been tortured by 4g63's can really appreciate that line!

Me? Just installing a MKIII LSD carrier into a SC300 pumpkin. No big deal..

Look how close the side bearings are to the carrier retainer plates!

Yes, I do as well!

I got:

-Snow tires
-GS300 open diff
-MKIII 7MGTE 440cc Installed
-IAT installed

Just waiting on the GTE throttle body, then I can fire this thing up!

GTE Throttle body is here, I built the Data-logger cable, and finished most of the wiring that was left under the car.

NO starter action right now, back to it.

I primed the engine today with no ignition. The compression coming out of this thing sounds awesome, almost like distant gunshots.

Installed the 7mgte resistor pack in parallel to the injector power wires, and installed the ECU for the final time.

I need to get a v6 Camry throttle cable, extend the TPS plug, get a few crush washers and a new starter relay.

After that, install the thermostat and inlet/outlet, and fill with coolant.

I cannot wait to hear this thing run!

It's ok, because I'm a recon-tech.

One good session and a hot water extractor will have it looking showroom again.

Does your interior smell like actual leather and not farts and old Wendy's? Mine does!

So I have been torturing myself over the wiring of this conversion, and weather or not the 3mz Internally ignited coils would work.

I went over everything thoroughly, and after several cranking attempts I couldn't get the thing to fire.

And then I finally found the problem...

...NO GAS DUMMY!!!
