I was wondering if I can use the sc300 axles on the six speed diff. Does anyone know?
One of the sc300 axles can be used. The other one you need from a six speed car because its shorter in length. I cannot believe I forgot which side is the longer or shorter side, but there is definitely a big difference.
put it next to the stock sc300 axle (the oem sc300 axles are both equal lengths). if the axle that came with your swap is shorter (like a few inches), than that's the one you need. for the life of me i cant remember which side was shorter though.
Freshen up some parts before I start installing them on the car.
I just made an order at champion Toyota so I can install my 6 speed. I will be finishing up the motor on the stand and put that together as a whole before I take the old motor out.
