Not to get off topic, but who is "Jerry Truong" and where can I get one of those front splitters? I have an authentic AC kit I would like a bit of extra protection. I was planning on making something like this but I'll honestly probably never get around to it...

OKAY SO - the difference between photo A and photo B is:
A. Has damper measurement (lower spring perch ring to sleeve ring) of 41.275mm.
B. Has damper measurement (same as above) at 38.100mm.
Coilover length difference: a mere 3.175mm
Total difference of fender to ground measurement? Try jut 6.35mm... or 1/4-inch.
So what's the point? Well, I'm debating on if I should go back to the setup in Photo A. I'm currently at the settings in Photo B, but the front bumper scrapes everywhere - specifically my driveway. Not to mention that the Shine front bumper is pretty thin, and easy to crack (like it did last weekend). That plus I don't think I'm sold on that acrylic "skid plate" idea, since sure - the acrylic skid will take the scrapes and such... but it's still bolted straight to the thin-wall, lower lip area of the Shine fiberglass bumper.

Follow my plan. My plan was, once I get kitted, I'll paint the very bottom part of the front bumper that Rhino lining paint they use for truck beds. That's tough as ****. You can also paint over it with body color. But then again, the reason I'm gonna do that is because I'm expecting the bottom of the lip to hit driveways and ****.

I think if you dropped the rear and maybe raised the front a lil, so the lines are closer to 0 degrees, you can keep the "low" look and daily drive that thing! If you were to see my front right now, you would definitely know it's daily driven. lol

OH - and BTW I PM'd the Extreme Dimensions guy on the forum about those side skirts/rear bumper that didn't fit right. I know they're a forum sponsor, but that doesn't mean I have to pretend that their parts were acceptable.

I prefer A; simply because it's more drivable
I run a 2cm wheel gap and its perfect. Handled alot better than being slammed to the ground too

UPDATE to 07.07.12 - Not Fresh
Contacted Extreme Dimensions, they were pretty cool with handling the situation. Since the parts were already painted, they offered a full refund if I "destroyed the parts and sent them a photo" - so I did as instructed.
And yeah - I didn't have a circular saw so I had to use a Dremel (LOL) - but I got creative and just cut "score marks" into the parts. From there it was just a decent stomp and the parts were destroyed and now reside in my trash can.
