Default SC300 Build Finally Started

OK so for the past 6 years i have owned my Lexus sc300. Its a 93 and now has 143k on it. Ive been through ups and downs through the years so ive pushed everything back that has to do with the car until the past couple years. Now the car has a primered grey Authentic AC kit, 19" MRR GT1's that i *********** hate, Supra TT Brakes, lowered on crappy Eibach Pro Kit springs and Pretty bad A** system in the trunk. Hits super hard for being 1 Sub. Well now Iven decided to pull the trigger and start putting this car together.

I picked up a LS430 back in Oct while i was depolyed to Afghanistan and i absolutely love it. Im pretty mcuh done with it. I Pushed back my SC even more when i started building the LS430. Now it has some wheels and a SAVAGE system in it. I loved my 13.5" W7 in my SC so i put 2 of them in the LS430 =D.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...n-asantis.html

LS is done so now time for my long lost project.

NOW to the SC300. My goal to complete the car is to push 750+ HP on high boost and over 600 for a daily driver. Ive already got the AC kit on it so im happy with that. Im basically putthing this one together and make it a sleeper. Looking for some simple CCW LM20's or Classics. Right now it has some junk wheels but they will do for the time being. Im not looking for much more exterior mods besides wheels, pulling the fenders, coilovers and repaint the car with the Pearl white it already has. The interior needs some love so the pieces that are not touched by my body or anyone elses will be dyed black, some 98+ SC or TT seats will be sourced and then im pretty much set with the interior.

Now that you guys know my plans... here is a pic of what i just got delivered to me today. My wife has a big part in my hobbies since she finacially supports it with me lol. She wanted me to pick a motor up the other day so I figured instead on buying wheels, coilovers, etc.... this would be the right step to start the build and no back out of it. A lil love to it and some money and ill be set here soon. im debating to build the motor right now as it sits or install it to get it outta the trailer and in the car. What do you guys think? I know there is more than plenty of you on this board that can point me in the right direction with a build inside the car or out. Please a lil bit of guidance and ill be set. Im just torn between my options right now. This will be an ongoing build so ill be adding pics to this thread over the next couple months.

Sorry about these old pic but i only have one of the SC in it. Like i said... it has gotten ANY love haha.

My old Soarer put out 500WHP and it drove like stock if you weren't getting into boost. Good fuel economy as well. I've never driven a 600WHP car but I can't see the difference going from 500-600WHP being that big of a change in these fatass SC's seeing how I went from like 300BHP to 500WHP and I still wanted more power.

Well i know if i keep it below boost i will be good. this will be my daily driver. My wife drives the tahoe so im good with that. I only drive 10 miles a day so it wont kill me too much to put a lil bit of miles on it. I just really want a sleeper lexus that no one suspects out here.

I think its a good number. I mean 500 is good but i would love to be over half a thousand you know. i just like the big numbers. Also out here there is a lot of modded cobras, vettes, camaros, vipers, evos, sti's... etc., Gotta be able had someone their a** on a daily basis if needed.

I absolutely love the LS. By far one of the most beautiful and classy cars on the road IMO. It was either a 430 or 460 but i think a 460 is a lil too much for my tatse. Its a gorgeous car but i felt the 430 wasnt as flashy but had that classy look the 460 didnt have. The 460 is just a luxury vehicle. people tell me a drive around looking like a dope dealer haha.

Good luck with the SC
Thanks, i wont dissapoint you guys =D

So i found the WG today looking on craigslist and a local buyer wanted 125 for it with the dump tube and a twisted 90 degree elbow to reposition the WG. It looks like it was in bad condition but i gave it some 800-2000 grit, medium cut, mothers polish and some love and here it is now.

So right now im in this build about 4200 for all the listed parts, motors, seats AND... the money maker will be here on MONDAY Not gonna spoil it but stay tuned and i will post her up. We all know what it is aleady but iam so ready to hold her LMAO. Also i will be buying a new USDM MKIV Fan clutch, Fan, motor mounts and Water pump this week. The lil cheap parts that need to be added to drop the GTE in. Ive also decided that im gonna build and tune her for E85. Figured out the fuel system im most likely gonna go with so im looking to put down some good numbers and not dissapoint anyone. Like i said Money maker... MONDAY

Thanks guys. I was happy with the outcome of the wg. Almost looked like a loss but for 125 bucks and some elbow grease, I'm sure I could flip it for more than that but I need it.

So she came in yesterday like i said she would. Very happy. Looks like this turbo is becoming popular very quickly. Ive seen great reviews and good numbers put down by it so its a must in my book. Ill be updating at the end of the week or early next week. Ordering some more parts tomorrow. Nothing major but its needed
