That is true. That was when "Drift Circuit" was holding the events (3 total?) that where specifically for drifting. Damn Megan 350z! "Race Legal" has been doing 1/8 mile drag racing there at Qualcom for over 10-15 years. The Race Legal crew set up a Time attack slalom called "High Octane Slide" last year that lasted only a few months till they cancelled it. Possibly because I and a few others that could not resist drifting the entire course! They never said
So need a legal Drift location/outlet here in San Diego!

I left SD in 09 and had been out there since 92. Miss it and still have a lot of friends out there. I remember when they almost shut racelegal down too cause of funding.
I spent many of friday nights out there

Have any more details on the Novak adapter. I've been looking all over the internets and your build seems to be one of the only completed swap with this adapter.
Thanks

The adpater from www.novak-adapt.com is Part# GMAX15. You will need a standard Chevy old school bell housing that is from a 68-90 Chevy truck or camaro, release bearing setup, and custom pilot bearing from novak (they custom made it for me.) I also had SPEC clutches make a custom clutch disk that is the ls1 clutch kit with the R154 splines in it. I also used a RAM hydraulic release bearing kit. Use the HD version it is imuch better than the standard... tried both and the HD is holding up where the standard one lasted a month for me. Novak helped me through the set-up...give them a call

Awesome. I really appreciate it. Have you calculated your mpg yet? The biggest thing I'm worried about is the highest gears I can do in mine is 3.73:1 so at highway speeds I'm gonna be over 2500 rpm.
Is this the one your running?

That is the one (ram 38125HD) and used a 3an braided line.... I Have changed my diff with one from a 1999 gs400 that has a 3.26 ratio which puts me at 2000 rpm at 65.
