Well what I did for mine was just keep wiggling it around and sometimes stick my finger in and push it down while it was starting to play. It took me about 2-5 mins of just moving it and ejecting and putting it back in. It was a pain to mess with, but I got it to work! And congrats on the new SC!

I also re-oiled my air filter today and cleaned it with K&N products. I also discovered there is a leak in my A/C somewhere, so I will just have it fixed when it goes in for inspection. Also, what do you guys think of completing this set of wheels and putting them on the SC, since I already have the set started...

And where do you guys get your Redline MT-90 for you manual trannys? I found a few online sites, but I didn't know where the cheapest place was to buy it. Thanks!

Redline MT-90 and Redline 75W-90 Gear Oil is only carried by specialty shops or online shops. You won't find it through normal auto parts stores.

Nice progress!

Well guys, here's the future plans for the next couple months of my SC. If I forget that should also be looked over in a tune-up with a new SC, just mention it please!

As for mechanical tune-up I will do it in steps. The first one is a basic engine tune-up and clean. I will do a thorough write up on this because most people should do this when they get a new SC. This will include, new spark plugs, cap and rotor, serpentine belt, distributor o-ring, valve cover gasket, cleaning of the throttle body, new spark plug wires, new ignition coil, new t-stat and gasket, coolant flush, radiator cap, new engine oil and filter, new O2 sensors, as well as the first thing to get done before all of this, seafoaming the car. This is a basic tune-up where I am coming from a standpoint that the car was not taken care of before and needs all of this stuff replaced just as preventative maintenance. During this write-up I will also be cleaning my dirty engine bay!

Another write up will be the drive-train maintenance. During this I will be replacing the transmission fluid as well as the rear diff fluid.

Another basic thing that needs done is replacing front and rear brake pads. I won't be doing a write-up on this, just a small post with pictures.

There are many other small things that I will be doing as well. I need to get new cabin air filters, most likely a new climate control unit, new main dash piece and seatbelts (because they're brown and not black), a new Lexus style steering wheel, new wheels of some type, replace the antenna motor, new fuel door, fix the steering wheel tilt, new headlights, new tail lights, new fog lights, new cd player to install (mine is missing but has the main box), fix the dash lights, new trunk hydraulics, new undershrouds, brake fluid flush, power steering flush, and a lot of small exterior repair because it is pretty beat up exterior wise. I'm hoping to preform all of this by the end of the summer. If I missed anything at all to look at on a new SC please let me know! I will do my best to document all of this to help other members, thank you!

Well I didn't get around to really do anything today. I found some 350Z wheels for $200 on craigs, so I might go get them to just have better looking wheels for now. Sorry about no update today, still waiting to sell Stang for money and waiting on some parts to come.
